From the Principal

St. Bernadette School went through our accreditation process this past school year. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges is please to announce the action taken by the Accrediting Commissions for Schools granting St. Bernadette School a six-year term of accreditation with a midterm review, expiring on June 30, 2013. They recommended we find ways to increase our revenue over the next three years. The PTO Board along with my administrative staff will collectively work on ways to open doors to wealthy benefactors. The administration, faculty and staff, has taken the time to prepare for the new school year. The teachers have attended several workshops and classes to prepare them for the upcoming school year. The school as well as the classroom have been prepared for you. We look forward to working with you. There have only been a few changes in staff this year. Derek Gray (formally known as Coach) will be teaching Math to grades 6th, 7th and 8th. He will also be the 6th grade homeroom teacher. Miss Belle will be teaching 4th grade. We would like to welcome new to our staff Mr. George Canada who helped out with our football teams over the years. Mr. Canada will be our Athletic Director/Physical Education Teacher. Thank you for allowing and trusting us to educate your child or children. Together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will become life long learners in a faith filled environment. We seek to develop a trust in God, while striving for academic excellence.
